Why IN GOD WE TRUST Is so Damn Important

Explain the leap from near universal goodwill--all yearned for creative freedom to bring high achievement to the youthful singer--to landing with the conclusion that such goodwill indicates congruence with the motto affirming "In God we trust."

Mean and cynical societies are at base selfish societies.  This results in fear that if someone attains high success in whatever craftsmanship and creativity then in some insidious way (often in a non-rational generalized and symbolic sense) threatens to  limit me personally. My modus operandi then becomes to discourage all success if not in some way identified as personally mine.  (Each individual becomes his own dominating monopoly that seeks to destroy competition rather than to appreciate the broad resources of dynamic synergism. Donald Trump had to win at EVERYTHING in military school--even being first in line for meals [video below].)

Societies operating with high levels of goodwill (charity for all, malice towards none) are able to trust in God to bless them personally while freely sharing in the happiness of others' success.  That is, trust in God is the enabler and only sure path to a spiritual freedom that opens up upon broad corridors of creativity and achievement.

I am constrained by my son George Hall (Nurideen) to convey our great Creator's pressurized but building anger at our failure to correct with all urgency sid-vicious Cannon fodder employment practices.  This has nothing to do with the extensive blessings of authentic capitalism nor certainly the grounding love of our Creator's nature. 

The continued blessings of the New Order (America) requires urgent creed amplification to address employment protection through uniform justice procedures and due process for all employees not excluding the most humble of employees.

As the Word plainly demonstrates our God is a jealous God and will not tolerate presumptive profane sodomistic deities on the order of Trump polluting his national park.

We should never jump to the conclusion that "the humblest of these" [the least of these] applies only to the obviously weak and severely cowed.  For example, Moses stood before no less than Pharaoh and demanded Let my people go ..which looks a lot to me like gutsy Chutzpah..

Tonight I viewed from our movie library The Aviator (based upon the life experiences of Howard Hughes). He was known to be born to wealth and privilege.

I find myself feeling great sympathy towards younger folk driven by big ideas in order to make their mark upon the world with singular achievement (like Howard Hughes).  It would be a sad thing to see the flaming life-force of our youth content with small ideas and deep-dive lethargy.  Just as I like to see youth motivated by big ideas, I can be hugely disappointed when seeing older folk are captured by tiny self-centered ones.

Finally...I have been sorely tempted to tish-tish famous entertainment talent that crash-burned in later stages of their careers.  I think we should just stop for one minute and consider as well our own contributory blame ....for example when we overbearingly insist that we should "get-a-piece" of them whenever they are seen in public or fanatically swoon in worship before them so that they must forfeit their soulful need for even a passing moment of quiet dignity.  This perspective is brilliantly critiqued towards the final plot development in The Holy Man (Eddie Murphy).

My modest proposal—those congressmen in Washington sporting immaculately clean blue business suites should at this critical moment immediately strip down and shamefully cover themselves with an odorous assortment of tattered rags picked up gratis in the alley behind  a thrift store.

It's usually only after you've purchased a timeshare that you realize there are more people looking to sell them than buy them. The likelihood of recovering your initial investment is very low — to say nothing of recovering many years' worth of maintenance fees.

Many people in America who have entered a timeshare arrangement end up yelling bloody murderer due to relentlessly escalating maintenance fees.

Rental units in America have likewise become a form of legalized extortion by way of greedy landlords who worship their God of Moneybox Pyramids.   

Housing and commercial units are flat-out necessities while renters over time can become increasingly and inevitably anchored. Like taking candy from a baby, rate increases and fees ride a speedy up Trump escalator--never down or you can be sure the Pirate Himself would cry like a victimized toddler.

The PR-Conscious philanthropists pirates sprinkle comparative chump change from one hand and frenetically wave the American flag in the other (signifying their doctrinaire free-choice right to play an Omnipotent god over lesser mortals).

So while an American employee can be treated as cannon fodder at work, he is simultaneously treated as a totally expendable sucker by his landlord.  Isn't it interesting and pure happenstance that the shark named Trump just loves real estate.

The Admixture of Human and Divine Judgement

Nancy Pelosi did a glorious thing the other day.  She said she doesn’t hate anyone.  Yet, of course, she demonstrates strong opposition to President Trump. For example she declared him a coward in terms of establishing effective gun restrictions even when such cowardice results in harm to the nation’s children.  As much as the term “hate” can be used to incite categorical and emotional fury, so another term “love” can be used to anesthetize into categorical and emotional acceptance the stupid and viciously evil.

In both of these extremes, the appeal is for humanity to abandon uniquely human and  divine access to  the Holy Spirit.

Think of it this way, if I met you in the hallway as you were about to enter a US courtroom as a defendant, my worst advice would be for you to think within categorical extremes—be cynical as hell and take for granted the ill-will of everyone…or conversely, be syrupy and sentimental viewing everyone and everything through rosy glasses.

In attaining appropriate attitude: that is to be found beyond human understanding by the Counsel of the one who fully knows each and every human heart
